|
| Spice Storage |
|
Try not to store your spices
in the upper cabinet on the top
of the stove. Heat from the stove
may alter the taste. Try storing
your spices in a special pull out
section in the base cabinet, or
in the upper drawer.
|
| Corner Storage |
|
Try to store items that are infrequently
used in the Lazy Susan or in the
blind corner. Try to fit pots and
pans within each other when storing
them. For blind corners try using
the Magic Corner or other shelving
systems.
|
| Pantry |
|
Avoid storing heavy objects above
your head. Try storing bottles in
the bottom shelves and leave the
middle shelves for daily use.
|
| Dish Storage |
|
Dishes are usually stored in
the upper cabinet above the sink.
If you prefer storing dishes in
a drawer use the Blum system.
|
| Microwave |
|
The ideal location for placing
your microwave is in a tall pantry
close to your refrigerator. Resist
placing it at chest height or lower.
|
| Sink |
|
The best sinks are designed for
rear drainage, leaving more room
for storage in the bottom cabinets.
They also offer a variety of heights
and size configurations to accommodate
your needs. For more space saving
options try purchasing a sink top
cutting board.
|
| Wine Storage |
|
Red wine should be stored at
room temperature in a wine rack
in either the base cabinet or the
lower half of the upper cabinet.
